Man calls 911 to ask for sex
A man called 911 to request a female officer with whom he will be able to have sex with, according to police reports.
There is nothing wrong with being attracted to women in uniform, but do not take it too far.
A Florida man repeatedly called 911 and asked for female police officers to come over to his house to have sex with him, according to press reports.
It was an emergency that Joshua Basso, 32, of Dover called the 911 hotline seven times before police arrived at his home, according to a statement released from the Office of the Hillsborough County Sheriff.
Police officers put him under arrest but that was probably not the way he wanted on Thursday and charged him with seven counts of making false 911 calls. Basso allegedly confessed to the misuse of the system.

Man on the Run from cops for nothing for 20 years
Bennie Wint was convinced that the cops were after him for
drug-related charges when he faked his death in 1989. So convinced, that he
staged his drowning death in Daytona Beach, Fla., leaving his fiancé and
then-four-year-old daughter completely oblivious to his plan and, ultimately,
heartbroken. He then took off to Alabama (is that really the best you could do,
Bennie? Alabama?) and began a new life under the name of William Sweet. He
married another woman and had a son, and spent his days running a flea market
stall in North Carolina (better).
About 20 years later, he was pulled over by the cops in the
good ol' state of NC for a blown-out light bulb on his car. When he gave his
fake name, nothing came up on the computers, so Bennie was forced to give his
real name and tell his whole story—only to find out that he was never wanted
for anything. That's right, Bennie threw his whole life away for absolutely no
reason whatsoever.
And this, kids, is why you shouldn't do drugs.

Baby Girl Dies as Doctors Fight Over Delivery
A baby girl died while doctors fought over who should deliver her.
A newborn girl died after two doctors fought over who was going to deliver her while the mother was in labor, it has emerged.
The young mother begged the doctors to stop fighting and help her, she told a Brazilian television station.
But her pleas appear to have fallen on deaf ears. Her baby daughter suffocated to death, witnesses have said.
The two doctors were fired by the public hospital in the small city of Ivinhema near the border with Paraguay.
Brazilian authorities have launched an investigation over whether the delivery room fight caused the death or contributed to it.
Brazil’s Globo TV said witnesses reported one doctor got angry early Tuesday morning because the other doctor was summoned to deliver the baby for 32-year-old Gislaine de Matos Rodrigues even though he was not scheduled to be on duty.
Rodrigues, a seamstress, said she was terrified when the fight broke out.
‘I asked them to stop fighting and help me,’ she told Globo TV. ‘One of the nurses came to protect me and console me.’
A third doctor took over the delivery after hospital security guards removed the fighting doctors, Rodrigues said.
She said her baby girl was dead upon delivery.
Witnesses said the baby died of asphyxiation following complications, Globo TV reported.
One of the doctors admitted to Globo TV there was a fight in the delivery room, but blamed his colleague.
‘I didn’t get in a fight with him,’ said Dr. Sinomar Ricardo. ‘He got into a fight with me.’
The network said it was unable to interview the second doctor.
Police said they will investigate, and the regional body that oversees doctors in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul also launched a probe.
The two doctors were given 10 days to report their versions of what happened in the hospital’s delivery room.
The autopsy report on the baby’s death is expected to be released next week.

Woman Wakes Up at Own Funeral, Dies of Shock
(Newser) – There’s irony, and then there’s the story of Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, a 49-year-old Russian woman who woke up at her own funeral only to have a heart attack and die when she realized what was going on. Mukhametzyanov had been falsely declared dead after collapsing with chest pains, the Daily Mail reports. When she awoke, she was lying in a coffin, with mourners filing past and saying prayers. She screamed, and passed out again.
“Her eyes fluttered, and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital,” her husband says. “But she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good.” The hospital says it’s investigating the incident. “I am very angry, and I want answers,” the husband says. “She wasn’t dead when they said she was and they could have saved her.”

Man Butt Dials 911 in the Middle of Drug Deal
A Pennsylvania man was arrested and is facing drug charges after he butt-dialed 911 while meeting with his drug dealer.
Butt-dialing (also known as “pocket dialing”) is when you unintentionally call someone while your phone is in your pocket, allowing the receiver of the call to hear whatever you’re doing at the moment.
It’s happened to everyone at least once — either you have been butt dialed, or you were the one doing the butt dialing.
The worst times to butt dial?
1. When you’re cheating on your significant other … and you accidentally butt dial them
2. If you’re a teenager, and you tell your parents you’re just going to a friend’s house … and you unintentionally butt dial your parents while you and your buddies are out partying at 2 a.m.
3. When you’re getting drugs from a drug dealer … and you unexpectedly butt dial 911.
Number three happened to 24-year-old Justin Kryzanowski, who accidentally called the police while he while he was sitting in a car making a drug deal.
According to reports, police listened in on the whole conversation and traced the call back to Kryzanowski’s apartment, where they found various prescription meds, drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles and syringes full of Suboxone — a medication used to treat opioid addiction.
During questioning, Kryzanowski, speaking in slow and slurred speach, told police that he met with his friend “Rick,” who gave him the Suboxone, which subsequently took.
After all was said and done, Justin Kryzanowski was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited offensive weapons.

Man selling 'Michael Jackson' bird poop
A Chicago-area man put the windshield of his car up for auction because it has a bird dropping he says looks like the late pop star Michael Jackson.
"One of two things will happen," said owner Brandon Tudor, an Oswego salesman and father of three. "It will go for an astronomical amount or I'll get nothing."
Tudor, 29, said he was driving along U.S. Highway 30 near Big Rock Wednesday when bird poop hit the windshield of his 1996 Cadillac Seville, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
He said he immediately saw a resemblance to the pop icon and it became more obvious "after it hardened."
"Everybody loves it," Tudor said. "There's not one person who's seen it that doesn't agree it looks like Michael Jackson."
The minimum starting bid for the windshield is set at $500 on eBay. Until the auction closes, Tudor is keeping the bird poop image covered in plastic to protect it from washing away and parking his car in a garage.

Thomas Robert Harter Jumps Off Bridge To Avoid DUI Test
A New Orleans man went to extreme measures to avoid taking a DUI test: He jumped off a 20-foot-high bridge.
On Sunday, Thomas Robert Harter was pulled over by police and asked to take a sobriety test after another motorist reported his car swerving and speeding, according to Newser.
Although Harter got out of the car without being asked, and was waving his arms in the air, police say he was swaying smelling of alcohol and wearing a green St. Patrick's Day necklace. When the officer asked for his vehicle registration, Harter got back into his car and exited again, holding a pile of paper scraps and a stack of CDs, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, still swaying.
At that point, the officer asked Harter to take a field sobriety test and he agreed, before suddenly "bolting" and leaping into the water 20 feet below.
One officer managed to grab him, but couldn't hold on to Harter, who was wearing jeans, boots and a camouflage T-shirt.
Harter fell into the lake and disappeared into the water, which was rough, with winds between 15 and 20 mph, and cold, about 60 degrees, according to Causeway General Manager Carlton Dufrechou.
The southbound lanes were closed for about a half hour as rescuers looked for him.
"We were concerned that the current would just take him away," Dufrechou told the Times-Picayune.
Luckily, Harter managed to grab a utility building at the base of the bridge. He was hauled out of the 60-degree water intact and arrested for what will be his eighth drunk-driving charge, according to WWL-TV.
He was also charged with resisting arrest and careless driving, and booked as a fugitive on outstanding warrants for a hit and run.
He is being held on a $15,000 bond on the alleged driving violations, according to Fox News, but Dufrechou thinks that's better than the alternative.
"He's a lot better off than being crabmeat," he told reporters.

Woman Self-Immolates to Protest the Destruction of Home

Protesting comes in a variety of forms. From simply standing on the corner chanting and holding signs to climbing up a tree and refusing to come down (like Darryl Hannah), expressing one’s disapproval for something is one of the most unique forms of expression.
On November 13, 2009, similar to the Thích Quảng Đức playbook of protesting, Tang, a woman in the Jingniu district of Chengdu city, threatened to lite herself on fire to protest being evicted from her residence and the subsequent demolition of the building.
She poured gasoline over her entire body and screamed “Don’t come up here. Don’t push me. Otherwise I’ll die in front of you.”
Tang then followed through with her threat and set herself on fire. She died 16 days later in a hospital.
Although blurry, the pictures of incident from HNCNN.com reveal the woman standing atop the smoking building located on Tianhuizhen Street, dousing herself in gasoline and setting herself on fire.
